Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Mid-level Project Management Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join the 767/ 777/ 737NL Supply Chain Fulfillment team in Everett, Washington.

This position is crucial to meeting customer commitments and supporting material delivery and integration for manufacturing production for all BCA Commercial operations. The role will focus on supporting Boeings 767/ 777/ 737NL Supply Chain Fulfillment team. The selected candidate will support a team that works across multiple Airplane Programs and functions to drive Global Industrial Champion levels of performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
  • Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
  • Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
  • Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key partners in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
  • Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
  • May lead others and advise all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key partner requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in a Business Operations or Project/Program Management role

  • 1+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • 1+ years of experience communicating with employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership

  • 1+ years of experience in a role that required communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • 1+ years of experience in project management (supporting diverse programs and projects) with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • PMP certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metric

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders

  • Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment

Typical Education/Experience: 

Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelors or 4 years related work experience, etc.).

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelors+ 2 years related work experience or 6 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range (level 2): $74,000 - $101,000

Summary pay range (level 3): $93,000 - $126,000
