Aviation Safety, Quality & Governance Manager

Job Description:

• Know Aviation Authorities & Regulations and associated organization&39;s approvals and manuals; as the (1) Liaison officer with Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) and (2) Liaison officer with Military/Governmental Aviation Authorities (MAA)

• Support APAC CCs in dealing with DGCA & MAA approval

• Assist in answering to customer regarding quality matters; Knowledge of customer Operations, Ops engineering and Technical documentation. Understand the impact of aircraft operation in term of operating cost, safe operation of the aircraft, execution of a flight mission.  Monitor all the tasks such as  aircraft planning and maintenance,  compliance to ensure safe operation practices and airworthy conditions.

• To support AH in deploying/monitoring of AH approved distributor MRO center; 

• Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up-to-date.

• AH Aviation Safety Officer (ASO) in Indonesia;

• Define the conditions to establish long-term relationship between the company and government institutions in charge of aviation safety in regions

• Conduct Safety Roadshow (SRS) for customers and authorities

• To support the establishment of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) in Indonesia through EASA

• Aviation Partnership Project (APP) initiative

• Ensure initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence/accident investigations;

• Act as company representative in regions for all safety affairs with government authorities, airlines, and aviation academia&39;

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the air transport system, international to local regulatory framework, regulatory bodies, and industry associations (e.g. ICAO Annexes 1 to 19, etc.)

• Knowledge of safety-related support offer and providers (training, consultancy, etc.)

• Ability to identify possible safety issues in most domains of the air transport system;

• ​Establish in-house procedures and/or deployment of Quality systems, including clear R&R for each functions; Knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS).

• To drive continuous improvement in the entity; Ability to identify improvement opportunities, analyze the current situation and potential benefits, apply lean and quality principles by application of the process approach, or selection of appropriate approaches, methods and tool, and lead or contribute (at expected level according to responsibilities, role or perimeter) to deliver business improvements, including right first time quality.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

• Minimum bachelor degree. Preferably in Aviation or Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience

• Having similar background in Quality & Safety

• Knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and policies.

• Knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulations.

• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
