Aa Avio Aero Export Control Manager you will be responsible of the integration of regulatory export control requirements in Avio Aero business operations.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
This role will work into the International Trade Compliance (ITC) function, in close coordination with Legal and Business functions to ensure that the business operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the International Trade Compliance field.
The Export Control Manager main responsibilities are:
To define the areas of improvement of the Avio Aero procedures and instructions assuring the proper flow-down of export control national rules and requirements for military and dual use operations,
To ensure that all regulatory requirements derived by the applicable export control regulations are fully and timely managed, such as: recordkeeping, mandatory communications to relevant authorities, specific obligations related to shipments/intangible transfer records, proofs of arrivals, while monitoring the relevant KPIs,
To handle the transfer registers that the Company is required to update and maintain by law, while monitoring the relevant KPIs,
To ensure that collaboration tools, database and records satisfy all requirements and compliance standards both for tangible and intangible items,
To define and implement an Avio Aero ITC internal audit plan related to national export control regulation application and actively support external audits. Monitor the implementation of timely corrective actions.
Qualifications/Requirements
University Degree – preferred Law or International Relations Master Degree
Proved knowledge of laws and regulations in the export control area (in particular of Italian L. 185/90 and Dual Use Regulation 821/2021)
Previous experience in interacting with Italian Ministry of External Affairs (UAMA office in particular) and/or Italian Ministry of Defense
Experience in Compliance related to export control of defense and dual use products
Fluent in Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
