Beverage Manager - (West Bay Beach Clubs)

We are currently recruiting Beverage Manager for one of the most dynamic and exciting leisure venues in Doha.  West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar, comprises 3 absolute beachfront fully licensed venues;

1.      Doha Sands, an exclusive and private beach club for in house guests staying at participating West Bay hotels

2.      The Bistro; a fully licensed restaurant, open from 7am until midnight with a capacity of 200, serving light casual meals and also catering for special events, movie and sports event screenings and private groups.

3.      B12 Beach Club, Qatar’s largest private beach club featuring the largest inflatable in the country, a range of international food and beverage outlets, general admission and VIP sections, a resident DJ and popular weekend brunches.

In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, management and administration of all operational aspects of bar operations & control (Front & Back).  Manage the beverage cost, ordering the stock and system update.

Other key responsibilities are:

·        Manage and maintain operations as per set policies & procedures to ensure full compliance.

·        Planning, identifying, communicating and delegating tasks to the team to ensure fair task distribution and maximizing the productivity of the employees through efficiently contributing towards profitability. Ensure staff grooming standard are met at all times as per company policy, schedules staff for training and ensure all staff have been through HACCP trainings.

·     Actively drive sales & improvements through operational performance excellence to ensure all guests are provided with outstanding service, and sales budget are achieved.

·        Assist in the development of marketing initiatives, menu items, and other items to stimulate growth in sales for each outlet and a variety of latest market developments.

·        Coordination of all stock controls and cash handling processes to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.

·        Initiate an ongoing product improvement program that ensures consistent improvement and evolution of the offer.

·        Identify current and future requirements by establishing rapport & connection with customers

·        Conduct regular surveys & engage with customers to understand the business needs.

·        Be aware of and assist to control current budgeted and forecasted revenues.

·        Set individual targets by shift, by location.

·        Provide clear and accurate financial sales data and analysis.

·     Collaborate with events manager to ensure all marketing and promotional activities are executed correctly, on time and as specified. Provide creative marketing and PR ideas to increase revenue.

·        Merchandising standards controlled and regulated if required and approved by line manager as per set standards

·        Liaise with Purchasing to ensure range and stock levels are consistent with business requirements.

·        Ensuring correct housekeeping & Health and Safety practices.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with:

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

·        Minimum 3 years of similar experience

·        Experience within a similar environment with multi -million turnover capacity

·        Health & Safety certification and experience in HACCP/ FSA/USDA implementation.
