The Program Management Liaison will support the NextGen Weather Processor (NWP) Program and report to the NWP Program Manager (PM). The Program Liaison will support the PM on program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional team(s) and suppliers. Assist the PM with meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries, company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools. Responsible for executing the baseline and supporting management of the program risks and opportunities, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations. Support monitoring of milestones and adherence to program master plans and schedules. Use approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and coordinate ongoing projects, be the liaison between the program office, functional disciplines, and customer representatives; assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives; develop mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for interventions and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

What you will do:

•    Support the PM to meet financial goals and obligations in accordance with the program AOP.

•    Analyze and review program financials; provide recommendations to Program Manager on forecasting, workforce planning and EACs.

•    Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects, developing monitoring mechanisms for tracking projects and provide recommendations for problem solving with Program Manager.

•    Develop and manage communication between the Program Management Office and functional teams; responsible for communicating policy practices, procedures, technical goals and business goals of the organization.

•    Actively participate in recurring program meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting minutes and action items; tracks and monitors action items for successful completion.

•    Lead minor and major program efforts and special projects.

•    Perform ad hoc requests as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:
•    Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

•    Project Management or Six Sigma Certification
•    Earned Value Management experience

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
