In this role, you will be responsible for developing short/medium- and long-term strategic initiatives, working on day-to-day functions, projects and ad-hoc tasks across division. Ensure teams perform sound analytical processing and spanet research to support informed data driven decision making.
Formulate and deliver recommendations to senior management and rest of the business and represent CNP in cross-functional improvement projects/initiatives.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Manage the development of the short/medium and long-term schedules and/or business cases for new or existing routes developed through comprehensive detailed analysis (inclusive of annual budget operating plan)
- Supervise and/or provide recommendations to maximize or enhance profitability by optimizing the allocation of capacity throughout the network e.g., new destinations, frequency changes and structural changes (aircraft, retime, tags, triangles etc.).
- Supervise cargo revenue inputs relevant to passenger aircraft business cases prepared by reportees; distribute relevant information from Corporate Planning to QR Cargo stakeholders.
- Ensure full disclosure and coordination of plans and initiatives between QR Cargo and Corporate Planning
- Support Aero political and Corporate Affairs with ad-hoc information requests; input QR Cargo’s traffic rights’ wishlist annually and track progress.
- Lead spanet research requests emphasizing particularly on competitive intelligence and KPI benchspaning.
- Manage airports’ incentives/relations management including (but not limited to) incentives/contracts negotiation, tracking of incentives with Finance, analysis and forecasting.
- Manage the use of industry cargo network planning system and tools; validate inputs in regard to capacity, demand and costs; actively participate in RFPs for tools sourcing and procurement.
- Support fleet plans management through regular updates of the master fleet document and coordination of updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and advertisement of QR Group’s network plans through dedicated meetings with all stakeholders and alignment with QR Cargo Marketing team for all public press releases, social media posts and flyers that involve network/fleet announcements.
- Manage and facilitate the optimization of the freighter network by setting the framework for profitability projections on flight basis and initiate actions to improve profitability by changing flight routings, aircraft gauge and using commercial opportunities elsewhere in the network that improve the overall network contribution of the freighter network.
- Assess and take GO/NO GO decisions to offer space for charters & commercial flight requests based on overall network profitability & relevant factors (i.e. commercial/strategic priority, customer type).
- Monitor network and hub balance and steer flight capacity on the East and West lanes to keep network balanced.
- Review and monitor the flight performance on QR and wet lease aircraft and ensure aircraft utilization target is achieved.
