Job Description SummaryResponsible for ensuring all fulfillment processes and procedures are in place for spare part and repair orders for fielded engines. Work closely with the customer, GEAC fulfillment, services, and vendors to ensure processes are in alignment with overall program goals and customer CTQs. Continue to find and implement ways to improve repair turn times, reduce inventory, improve quality, and reduce logistics expenses. Lead effort to finalize product support agreements with LRU vendors. Provide weekly status reports of key program metrics to Catalyst leadership.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize the following processes for the Catalyst program:
    • Customer spare part order fulfillment.
    • Customer repair order fulfillment.
    • Warranty returns.
    • LRU rotable pool management.
    • Spare part inventory management.
    • Lease engine management.
    • Non-conforming material management.
    • Materials approval in service bulletin release process.
    • Identify and lead projects to reduce repair turn times and logistics expenses.
    • Identify and lead projects to increase spare part availability and quality.
    • Identify and lead projects to reduce GE inventory.
  • Material delivery
    • Work with forecasting team to define future spare part and lease engine demand.
    • Gain approval to purchase required spare parts and lease engines.
    • Ensure required spare parts and lease engines are ordered and delivered in time to meet customer demand. 
  • Product Support Agreements (PSA’s)
    • Manage multifunctional team to define PSA requirements.
    • Lead vendor PSA negotiations.
    • Finalize and gain vendor and program approval of PSA’s.
  • Status Reporting – Weekly leadership reviews                                                                                              

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • Substantial experience in Product Management
  • Fluent in English

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledgeable of the business and general aviation spare part and repair business.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for aviation spare parts and repairs.
  • Knowledgeable of FAA and EASA part 145 quality requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of shipping and customs requirements to ship aviation parts globally.
  • Proven project / program management expertise
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to plan, document, communicate and execute programs.
