UnspecifiedWe are seeking motivated and results-driven Operations Cell Leaders to manage day-to-day activities within our Aerospace Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) environment. The Cell Leader will oversee a cross-functional cell — ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of maintenance and repair tasks, material flow, and production schedules.Depending on background and specialization, the role may emphasize across Operations Leadership, Supply Chain/ Logistics Coordination, or Production and Material Planning — all focused on driving turnaround time (TAT), cost, and quality improvements.
Key Responsibility
General Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of an assigned MRO cell to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Coordinate resources (personnel, materials, tooling, and equipment) to meet production and maintenance schedules.
Monitor daily performance metrics (output, TAT, inventory) and implement corrective actions where required
Champion continuous improvement (CORE, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) initiatives
1. Operations-Focused Cell Leader
Manage the execution of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure on-time delivery and zero rework.
Balance workloads, labor planning, and resource allocation across shifts or product lines.
Collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the repair process to improve flow and reduce TAT.
Ensure adherence to standard work procedures and continuous process documentation.
2. Supply Chain/Logistics -Focused Cell Leader
Oversee material availability and logistics flow within the assigned cell to prevent production delays.
Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and warehouse teams to ensure parts and tooling are available when required.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the assigned warehouse cell or zone.
Ensure smooth workflow across inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.
Manage supplier returns, repair orders, and exchange transactions related to the cell’s components.
Monitor supplier performance (OTD, TAT, quality) and escalate issues impacting production.
3. Production and Material Planner-Focused Cell Leader
Identify, analyse and resolve material constraints
Collaborate with engineering and procurement to identify suitable alternates, substitutions or expanded inspection limit options
Develop and maintain accurate material and production plans aligned with customer demand and capacity.
Manage work order scheduling, kitting accuracy, and material issue transactions within SAP systems.
Partner with demand planning and operations teams to align forecast, repair schedules, and material replenishment.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines.
2 years experience in production, operations, or manufacturing with supervisory management.
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals
Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
