Our Barnes Molding Solutions SBU has an exciting career opportunity serving as Commercial Director – Americas. Molding Solutions is looking to expand across the Americas leveraging its proven technology and total solutions platform to meet the needs of its customers. We are seeking a strong sales leader with demonstrated experience and a proven track-record in developing and executing a comprehensive sales campaign targeted to grow and expand our branded lines of products, services, and solutions into multiple channels across the Americas. As a key member of the of the management team, you will help formulate the strategic plan, with clear growth levers that deliver topline sales, and increase market share in support of achieving the businesses short-and long-term performance objectives. Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the results of the sales team of Area Sales Managers (ASM) managed by Sales Managers, agents and dealers, Field Service and Customer Care Department.
  • Develop sales strategies and action plans to accomplish sales targets in a highly dynamic and changing market environment.
  • Develop a program to sell the full complement of products and services of Molding Solutions, to meet overall sales and profitability objectives.
  • Leverage data driven management by optimization of data collection process, visualization, development, and promotion of best practices to manage marketing activities in a targeted manner, to monitor sales activities accurately and to further develop our brands and segments with the greatest growth potential in a targeted manner.
  • Selection, development, and visualization of relevant KPIs to further develop the data literacy across teams in order to achieve full transparency regarding performance of individuals and teams.
  • Review strategic sales territory management and engage periodic rebalancing based on defined analysis and KPIs to achieve realistic targets on basis of the sales potential per sales territory.
  • Develop key client relationships, close large deals, and manage escalation cases.
  • Contribute to product pricing by collecting and providing input from the teams and markets.
  • Contribute to Go-to-Market Strategy based on data and analytics.
  • Work with cross functional teams to initiate and direct new business proposal efforts and new programs. Provide appropriate internal reports to management regarding forecast and actual orders and sales.
  • Perform duties as assigned by management in accordance with the Company Values and Code of Ethics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive commercial/sales experience, with a minimum 3 years in managing a high-performance sales team and organization.
  • Proven track record managing high performance sales teams remotely.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM is needed, skills in Power BI, Tableau, and Sales Force preferred. Responsible for the data quality and maintenance, market, and customer analyses.
  • Strong analytical skills and has ability to make recommendations and influence decisions based on data analysis and metrics.
  • Strong commercial / business acumen with the ability to convey our value proposition and total solutions capability to customers.
  • Strong competency in negotiating, influencing, strategically planning, and execution of plans relative to growth.
  • Emotionally intelligent change agent with the demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage change effectively.
  • Strong leadership and people engagement skills; proven ability to lead by example and manage using leadership effectiveness. Excellent motivational skills.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency to drive results, a proven ability to influence, build commitment and engage employees, colleagues, and management.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with global Sales team and all levels in the organization.
  • Impeccable integrity; superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel 50 of the time.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related discipline required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
