As a Configuration Management Associate Manager on the FBM program, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that customer requirements are implemented

• Lead and provide daily tasking for Configuration Change
Management team

• Provide mentorship and development of CM team members in partnership with CM Manager

• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system

• Coordinating modification records for management control

• Able to be flexible with continuous change and improvements and have the ability to help create change.

• Establish change orders and preparing change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel

• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field and at least 3 to 5 years experience.

Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams across multiple contracts to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals

• Experience in multiple aspects of Systems Engineering processes and product lifecycle (e.g., requirements, interface control, design and manufacturing integration, test and verification, and sustainment and support)

• Configuration Leadership skills on sophisticated systems such as: Engineering Release, Product Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit.

• Experience facilitating change boards and multi-discipline reviews

• Experience leading teams, developing processes and business requirements, and collaborating with internal and external management or customers

• PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems and/or tool administration; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• US Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated understanding of EIA-649 principles

• Able to read and understand DOD Contracts

• Experience working DOD Production and Development programs.

• Experience with Configuration Change Management Plans.

• Experience with design and Product Data Management tools

• Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships

• Strong attention to detail

• Government or Military customer experience

• SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools

• Drafting and/or CAD exposure and/or training to facilitate drawing and model review

• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of sophisticated problems and train others in their application

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
