Contract Manager

Job Description:

Pay Range: $50-60/hr.

Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Contracts Manager for a 6-month contract hybrid opportunity based in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Contract Manager in a dynamic environment with a proven track record of keeping attention to detail as a priority.

Responsibilities:

Manage Vendor and Client relationships for commercial goods
Manage the close-out process for Commercial Agreements (uploading contracts, following up with stakeholders, drawing up paperwork, following workflows, etc.)
Leading Standard Introduction contracts/agreement into include: NDA, Teaming Agreements, PIAs, and other business agreements
Identify, review and address contract information and administration issues
Review, analyze and conduct risk assessment of contract terms and conditions and develop negotiation plans
Support internal and external audits
Experience with Contractual Terms and Conditions negotiations
Provide contract advice to and work with various functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.)
Work with the International Trade Compliance (ITC) Department, and others, to ensure strict compliance with applicable Import/Export Laws as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Contracts Management
Experience negotiating U.S. Government (as a prime and sub) and commercial contracts
Strong working knowledge of all phases of contracting lifecycle – pursuit, bid, proposals, negotiations, award, execution, and closeout
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple contract negotiation or close outs with exacting detail
Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
