As Contracts Manager I, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contract administration, from assisting Business Development with strategy tactics prior to receipt of the Request for Proposal, through submission of the proposal and receipt of an offer, through negotiations, contract award, and contract administration through to contract closeout negotiation to termination. This role involves ensuring that contracts are properly executed in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Working side-by-side with your Program Management counterpart, you will provide guidance on contract actions and will be responsible for all contract-related activities, ensuring they are accurately documented and managed.

Responsibilities:
Negotiate, award, and administer contracts through closure
Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new efforts and for modifications to existing contracts
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and potential risks.
Manage contract modifications, renewals, and terminations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and adhered to.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information.
Comply with all FAR, DFAR, and other customer Acquisition Policies for each acquisition
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically 2-4+ years of progressive contracts experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience
Bachelors degree in a related field of study
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Familiarity with government contract requirements and FAR/DFAR regulations
Proven experience in negotiating and awarding contracts
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work well with others
Ability to travel at least 10
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience within the Aerospace & Defense Industry
Certification in contract management or the US Government equivalent
Working level knowledge and understanding of FAR and DFAR regulations
Experience with multiple USG contract types - FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPFF, etc.
Strong understanding of contract law and regulations
Experience in Government contracting

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
