The Air Dominance Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineering Core team is seeking a Data Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) for the Data Management and Release Team in Hazelwood, MO.
You’ll be responsible for supporting Air Dominance/Phantom Works proprietary programs by providing consultative expertise and support related to compliance with existing data standards throughout the data life cycle. In this role you will provide support to engineering teams by validating principles, processes, frameworks, metrics, and oversight required to effectively manage data from creation to disposition, in accordance with the Boeing Policies and Procedures and the Statement of Work. This position requires a motivated individual to remain technically competent and trained in the tools and processes required for Data Management to ensure First Time Quality Delivery and Acceptance of data.
Additionally, you can expect to support the creation, implementation and oversight of the program’s information and data management goals, standards, practices and processes aligned with the goals of the Air Dominance organization. We will look for you to provide expert advice and support in relation to all aspects of Information and Data Management including Data Ownership, Data Protection, Data Privacy, Information Usage, Classification and Retention.
Finally, you will be a key focal to promote Data Management at an organizational level in a way that supports quality, schedule, cost, safety goals and engineering excellence and implementation of the Boeing Digital Engineering environment. We look for a product line mentality that encapsulates the entire Product Lifecycle as to enable success in development, execution, and sustainment.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards.
Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.
Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability.
Provides configuration management, coordinates change, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under general direction.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10 of the time
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor degree and 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of experience with Data Management or Systems Engineering to include working with Customer & Supplier Data
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
(Level 3) – 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience with aerospace or equivalent data
Proven ability to embrace change, lead continuous improvement, and treat safety and quality as top priorities
Experience working in a cross-functional teams
Experience working with senior and executive leadership

Summary pay ranges:
Associate (Level 2): $71,400 – $96,600
Mid Level (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000
