Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (Level 5) to help lead our Aerostructures Program.

In this role, the focus will be on the overall business and Profit/Loss (P&L) responsibility for Boeing’s portfolio of nacelles, flight controls service offerings. The selected candidate will drive operational financial improvements, cross-functional collaboration, customer satisfaction, and future growth strategy.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Business and P&L leadership within our Aerostructure portfolio which is composed of 3 categories:

    • Transactional sales

    • Lease, and exchange of aerostructure assets

    • Customer owned repair and MRO services

  • Lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) that includes team members across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Contracts, and Supplier Management

  • Responsible for overall category: customer satisfaction, profitability, program execution, supplier performance, and growth

  • Accountable to Business Unit leadership, and engage regularly with key functional leaders

  • Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program.

  • Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans.

  • Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.

  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues. Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics.

  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices. Implements customer and program communication and contact plans.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills

  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams

  • 3 + years of experience working on or supporting a proposal team and/or negotiating contracts with external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Experience in commercial aftermarket aviation services strongly preferred

  • Operational and supply chain acumen and leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years related work experience, Master+12 years related work experience, 18 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $127,500- $197,800 Depending on location and experience.
