The Deputy Program Manager will work within the larger program team to effectively share personnel and resources across SI&T contracts and coordinate matrixed teams and resources to support larger organizational objectives. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Ensures timely completion of planned CDRL and program deliveries, tracking program cost, schedule, and performance in addition to identifying risks, providing mitigation plans, and collecting and analyzing program metrics.
• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion including coordinating the preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, and operating budgets.
• Participation in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, and financial terms/conditions. The selected applicant will prepare for, participate in, and present at Program Management Reviews and Program Status Reviews.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, sustainment and administrative areas.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an Engineering or Business or related discipline
• At least two (2) years of experience in program management
• Experience in contract negotiations, program capture, and contract ECP process
• Understanding of Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash as well as program and financial measurements
• Direct interface with government customers
• Proficiency in Earned Value & Control Account Management
Desired Skills:
• Background in Ship Integration or ship systems engineering, testing and or related skillsets
• PEO IWS 1 customer interface experience
• Experience with management and risk/opportunity management
• Direct leadership experience
• Ability to travel up to 25 as required by program needs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
