What You Will Do

This role will lead a team who will be primarily supporting the PW Canada - Supply Chain Operations; Customer Services; Business Development Digital Engine Service activities based out of Bangalore.

The Candidate will be responsible for coordinating strategies & initiatives with Pratt & Whitney’s Canada Businesses (Canada and Poland) and leading the corresponding actions to ensure that the Business Commitments in the following areas are Achieved within the Budget and Productivity numbers Year on Year.

Specific responsibilities of the position:

The Director – General Management will have complete responsibility in driving the following 3 areas within the Pratt and Whitney Canada Business - Ability to lead a multi-faceted team comprising of Supply Chain Management, Customer Service & Afterspanets, Business Development and Finance disciplines

• Supply Chain Management: Material Planning Indirect Procurement BPM Support & Analytics
• Customer Service and Afterspanets: Field Technical Support Reliability Analysis Pay Per Hour Leasing Warranty Repair and Overhaul Customer Solutions
• Business Development: Ground Software Development Data Analytics Proactive Support Customer Support Oil Analysis Technology Contact Center
• Finance: Treasury Cost Management

Qualifications You Must Have

• Permitted to Live and Work in India
• Education & Experience: B.E / B. Tech (Mechanical/ Industrial management) / General Management or Similar / University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 – 18 years prior relevant experience, or Masters / M. Tech in a related field and minimum 12 - 16 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions in Aerospace & Defense Industry or Similar Allied Industries
• In-depth understanding of Supply chain Operations; Business Development and Afterspanet Service team
• Should have Managed Large Teams focused on Insourcing roles and Productivity enhancements
• Ability to work in Cross functional teams such as SCM; Finance; BD and After Market teams – Customer care in different time zone especially North America and Europe
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Pratt & Whitney is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
