The Supply Chain Director role will provide Executive leadership to multiple matrixed teams across Supply Chain, Operations, and the Program Management office to drive improved supplier performance through execution, process improvement and efficiencies within the teams. This role focuses on improved supplier performance, supplier recovery, and provide executive support for key supplier engagements to include emphasis with Subcontract Management teams and critical suppliers. This Director will be a critical member of the Sikorsky Supply Chain leadership team and leverage Lockheed Martin Enterprise teams to ensure partnership and OneLM voice within our supply chain base. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Sikorsky Global Supply Chain. ​

The preferred location for this position is Stratford, CT. Other major RMS locations and virtual will be considered.

​Key responsibilities include: ​
• Provide executive leadership for Supply Chain execution, process improvements, digital transformation and metrics/tools
• Leverage partnerships with top suppliers with movement toward an integrated holistic model that manages financial, operational and technical risks efficiently
• Drive increase affordability, cost reduction, quality improvement, delivery improvement, and efficiency into our supply chain​
• Develop and drive robust business cases for large alternative sourcing decisions
• Manage partnerships with strategic suppliers to continually evaluate long-term relationships, road maps, pricing models and negotiations
• Lead development and implementation of Supply Chain operating model defining key business rhythms and engagements with stakeholders
• Drive and establish diverse tiger teams, execute SIA actions and recovery implementation strategies ​
• Lead and encourage strong coordination within supply chain, operations, finance and programs in Sikorsky drive partnership and increased supplier recovery ​
• Drive 1LMX transformation and acceleration in support of organizational improvements, tool enhancements and improved operating model
• Accelerate business transformation by modernizing processes, tools and technology to increase productivity​

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or other relevant field; or equivalent experience/combined education
• 15+ years’ experience in supply chain / program management
• Demonstrated Supply Chain level leadership experience​
• Intimate knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations and Program Management is required for this position
• Demonstrated ability to drive short-term and long-term strategies ​
• Strong technical experience and demonstrated success to work intimately with Program office, Engineering, and Operations to identify and resolve issues
• Strong and proven leadership skills and ability to build effective relationships
• Proficient in understanding material acquisition policies and procedures including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DAR)
• Demonstrated financial acumen with a Strong financial management expertise / earned value management
• Demonstrates Full Spectrum Leadership skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills working across functions, programs, and senior leadership
• Commitment to talent development
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
• Travel ~50
• Must be willing to perform frequent domestic and international travel

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $195,000 - $325,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
