As a Director Strategic Sourcing here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership. You will be responsible for establishing and executing procurement strategies with specific critical impact suppliers to achieve improved delivery and quality. This role requires broad understanding of supply chain, operations and procurement/sourcing to significantly improve the performance of our most distressed suppliers.
You will report directly to our Sr Director, Focused Supplier Development Mechanical and based out of the South Bend IN or Phoenix AZ location. This role will work a hybrid schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, improving quality and ensuring growth from the supplier to support the annual operating plan. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing value engineering initiatives, and streamlining supplier operations.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies
• Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth
• Manage critical suppliers to significantly improve delivery, quality and cost.
• Build strong relationships with key Supplier Executive leadership
• Collaborate with all ISC functions and other functions in Honeywell Aerospace.
• Lead supplier output increases to support the business and deliver performance improvements
• Deliver improvements in OTTR, past dues, PO acknowledgements and supplier output that is alignment to needs and growth

YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience in project management and / or Integrated Supply Chain
- Proficient in Data analytics tools, such as Excel, and the Microsoft suite of products (Powerpoint, etc)
- SAP knowledge is desired
