The position supports the Electronics Center of Excellence(ECOE) under Corporate Sourcing, providing dedicated support to the Aerospacestrategic business group. Reporting to the VP, EDMCOE Aero BP team, you willown leading the transformation of the EMS category strategy within the Aerobusiness to continuously improve the performance of outsourced electronicsmanufacturing.  You will plan and lead the transformation of existingsourcing strategies, including transitioning product sourcing between EMS partnersand insourcing options.  You will work collaboratively with the businessgroup to prepare and execute robust transition plans and contract negotiationstrategies as part of a world class MOS to support executive engagementsbetween Aerospace, Corporate Procurement, and Suppliers. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizes best practices in Category Strategy development and deployment to understand business requirements, assess current state, and assisting in the development and execution of future state sourcing strategies to drive optimal outcomes for the business.
  • Conduct hands-on engagements with major EMS supplier partners, addressing key business process challenges and driving change to enable long term success.
  • Driving cost transparency across our supply chain using costed bom tools and cost models with EMS suppliers
  • Driving expansion of HON sub tier control of supply base.
  • Analytic support of LTB / obsolescence.
  • Partners with business stakeholders on parallel projects to develop strategies that enable teams to execute projects successfully.
  • Partner closely with Aerospace SBG Integrated Supply Chain, Supplier Transitions, Focused Supplier Development, and
  • Planning organizations to understand business requirements and how they impact the EMS Category.
  • Collaborates with Corporate ECOE category teams to align on strategic initiatives.
  • Assists in developing AOP and STRAP
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Leadership experience working with EMS suppliers

  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tool
