Purpose of Position
The Director, Compliance Documents & Interfaces leads and evolves our Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), Aircraft Document Distribution (ADCD), and the Document Control teams. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives modernization efforts, and enables scalable growth by integrating cutting-edge publishing systems, tools, and operational workflows to enhance documentation accuracy and accessibility. The role also oversees the accurate, timely distribution of physical regulatory documents to aircraft in the fleet, including permits, insurance, and registration materials.
Tasks and Responsibilities
•Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the EFB program, Document Control, and Aircraft Documents Configuration Distribution (ADCD) teams, aligning content management initiatives with business growth and compliance requirements.
•Serve as the liaison to the FAA on matters related to technical manuals, procedures, Document Distribution, and EFB compliance, ensuring documentation meets evolving regulatory standards.
•Lead change across content workflows and systems, guiding the team through improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility.
•Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory agencies to ensure documentation remains current, compliant, and easy to use.
•Support team development by setting clear priorities, streamlining processes, and preparing for future operational demands.
•Direct departmental budgeting, vendor oversight, and resource allocation to support cost-effective and compliant operations.
•Manage the performance data and outcomes for the ADCD document distribution team, developing initiatives that drive alignment with departmental goals.

Education
Bachelor's in Aviation Management or related field
Certifications and Licenses
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Pilot license (CPL or ATPL)

•Preferred but not required: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot Certificate, Project Management Professional (PMP).
•Demonstrated leadership in the aviation industry with experience overseeing or supporting EFB programs and technical documentation.
•Strong knowledge of FAA regulations related to operational manuals and EFB authorizations.
•Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, managing change, and improving documentation systems and workflows.
•Familiarity with content management platforms and a background in technical writing and regulatory compliance.
•Proven success in managing operational programs, departmental budgets, and vendor relationships.
