Disassembly Supervisor M/F

Job Description:

Disassembly Supervisor (D Supervisor or DSup) as a part of Oerations function will manage and coordinate the disassembly process for specific modules to enhance operational efficiency and quality. This role will act as a project management function, interfacing between Operations and Engineering departments. Eventually, the person will gain expertise in both these domains.

Job Requirements:

Main Responsibilities are as below-1.Participation in Gate 0oActively participate in Gate 0 activities, contributing to Shop Visit Management and providing expertise on risk analysis & mitigation.2.Project ManagementoOversee the flow of parts post-disassembly (e.g., G1B, Check Inspection, PNR, expendables, etc.).oAnticipate Gate 3 requirements and raise requirement for parts in advance (based on configuration).3.Technical UnderstandingoDemonstrate proficiency in workflow documentation (Service Orders 1 & 2) for the assigned module.oLiaise with Engineering to establish and maintain accurate Gate 1 documentation.4.Shop Floor/Bay SupportoPost G1A release of documentation and part flow management.oProvide technical support for deviations, acting as the link between the bay and Technical Support/Engineering.oAssist the bay with inspection tasks.5.Coordination and CommunicationoWork closely with Line/Gate Managers to ensure proper alignment and integration of activities.oProvide regular updates to Line/Gate Managers on the progress of work.oCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and inspection.6.Problem SolvingoExhibit strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical and operational challenges swiftly and effectively.Required Skills and Qualities•Strong Project Management and Organizational skills•Advanced Problem-Solving abilities•Technical understanding of Module disassembly/assembly processes•Effective communication and cross-functional coordination•Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multiple departments•Inspection category assigned at the right level to perform and validate inspectionsCareer Development•Opportunities to move into Engineering or broader Production supervisory roles.
