This position requires a minimum of 50 travel.
The EH&S Regional Lead will play a critical role in supporting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System primarily across the Military Engines Organization (40-60), but also will support various CEH&S initiatives. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about advancing EHS excellence through structured support, data management, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Potential additional duties include region leader training and process development.
- Responsible for driving the culture and providing excellent customer support for all sites within a region.
- Maintain a considerate and reciprocal relationship with site leadership and staff to influence the design and rollout of key initiatives and drive site-level execution to achieve desired results.
- Responsible for cascading policy deployment improvement targets and strategic direction to Site General Managers, site EH&S Managers, site EH&S Councils or field staff.
- Provide strategic direction and influence, leadership, and technical support to advance EH&S programs, and provide oversight to help ensure all facilities are in compliance with local, state, in-country, and RTX/PW EH&S requirements.
- Assist site with implementation of the RTX EH&S management system. including, but not limited to: Data Management and Reporting; and Annual Planning; Training: EH&S Region Leader will lead the EH&S onboarding of new or transferred GMs and EH&S Professionals; EH&S Region Lead will also participate / support Incident Investigation.
- Support regulatory compliance, serious incidents, recordable and loss time investigations.
- Validate root cause and mistake proofing.
- Establish routine communications with site EH&S managers.
- Solicit and share best practices across the region and company.
- Provide regular updates and communications with P&W EH&S leadership and staff Staffing and Employee Development.
- Assist in the Hiring and development of EH&S staff.
- Support career development plans and performance reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of work experience in EH&S OR Advanced Degree and 7 years of work experience in EH&S.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety or related technical discipline.
- CSP ( Certified Safety Professional).
- Previous military experience, especially in aircraft maintenance, and have a current military or veteran’s card.
- Prior experience preferred in an industrial manufacturing environment and/or field operations / multiple small sites.
- Preference is for at least 3 years as Site EH&S Manager, directly supervising EH&S or other professionals.
- Seeking highly motivated individual, with strategic leadership ability and excellent social and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence all levels of management to achieve desired results.
- Change agent who anticipates potential issues and impact on the business, and dedicatedly resolve with minimal supervision.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
