Engine Shop Manager - Relocation Available!

We are seeking an Aircraft Engine Maintenance Manager to lead a team at the maintenance facility location in Kansas City, MO. We need a manager who can fit in quickly, has a positive attitude, and has general aviation experience working on Commercial aircraft Engines.  (TRENT 700, TRENT 800, PW4000, PW2000, CFM56-3, 5, & 7, CF6-50, CF6-80, CF34, ECT.)

Position Overview

This position works as an aircraft engine maintenance manager performing and supervising inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial aircraft engines. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft engine maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies.
• Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.
• Supervise and manage a team of technicians.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
• 5 or more years of aircraft engine maintenance experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and airworthiness requirements.
• Possess adequate tools.
