JOB PURPOSE
The Enterprise Portfolio Planning Manager at easyJet plays a vital role in shaping an integrated business plan that bridges strategy and operational teams, focusing on top strategic outcomes as highlighted against AMB priorities. This position is key to guiding the transition towards achieving these outcomes, emphasising flexibility and adaptability across various delivery methods.
In this role, you will oversee the strategic investment portfolio, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with easyJets strategic priorities and that the planning process accommodates a mix of delivery approaches. Your responsibilities include streamlining processes to support strategic transitions and managing change requests effectively.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of new methods and maintain a clear vision for future initiatives. By fostering collaboration across departments, you will promote innovative practices and align all parties with the strategic plan, reinforcing a unified approach to achieving organisational goals.
Moreover, you will develop and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor value and performance, ensuring that outcomes are data-driven and support the strategic direction. This role is crucial in maintaining transparency across the portfolio and ensuring that the organisations strategic objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Alignment and Integration:
• Ensure that all portfolio initiatives are fully aligned with easyJets strategic objectives as outlined by the AMB (Airline Management Board).
• Integrate cross-functional and cross-delivery method planning to support seamless strategic transitions and outcomes.
Portfolio Oversight and Management:
• Oversee the strategic investment portfolio, ensuring optimal balance and alignment with long-term goals.
• Manage the development and implementation of portfolio management processes that accommodate both traditional and agile delivery methods.
Resource Capacity Planning:
• Assess and manage resource capacity and allocation across all portfolio initiatives to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of projects.
• Identify resource gaps and collaborate with resource owners to address staffing needs, ensuring the right skills are available for strategic initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
• Foster strong relationships with Heads of Portfolios, L50, AMB, and technology teams to ensure consistent operational methods and strategic alignment.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to enhance innovation and unified strategic execution.
Change Management and Initiative Oversight:
• Handle requests for new change initiatives, ensuring they are evaluated, prioritised, and aligned with strategic and funding requirements.
• Monitor the lifecycle of all portfolio initiatives, from conception through to delivery, ensuring they meet the planned strategic outcomes.
Performance Tracking and Analytics:
• Develop and maintain value and performance tracking mechanisms for all portfolio initiatives.
• Leverage analytical tools to provide actionable insights and maintain transparency across the portfolio.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Continuously seek and implement improvements in planning and execution processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Champion innovative practices that support the strategic objectives and operational needs of easyJet.
Decision Support and Reporting:
• Provide decision support to senior management, ensuring that key decisions are made with a clear understanding of their impact on the strategic portfolio.
• Regularly report on portfolio status, challenges, and achievements to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
