Job Summary

Under the limited supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for providing executive and strong project management support to the CFO.  The incumbent will plan, execute, and manage various project initiatives including managing project teams with input from all levels of the organization.

 

Here is how the Executive Project Manager will help:   

  • Plan, organize, and manage the entire life cycle of complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously, including partnering with necessary departments as needed to define scope, goals, and key performance indicators.
  • Manage the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project management and other areas for the CFO.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Senior leadership Team; partner with them as needed to facilitate strategic decision making and ensure quality execution of projects. 
  • Assemble and lead project teams as necessary; provide direction, facilitate the decision-making process, keep the project team on-task, prepare status updates, and lead project team meetings.
  • Manage all aspects of communications between leadership, employees, and external stakeholders on various projects; collaborate with the Marketing, Comm, & Cust. Exp department when needed.
  • Identify risk and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption during the project. 
  • Create long and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines and budget.
  • Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders to continuously refine the top priorities of the CFO; attend all required meetings.
  • Manage and organize the CFO’s daily portfolio, including briefings, agendas, background and reference materials, travel arrangements, meals, and logistics.
  • Research topics as assigned by the CFO regarding items needed for meeting preparation, special projects, and key initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The following requirements list the minimum education/training/experience required to qualify for this job. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

 

Requirements to apply for the role of Executive Project Manager are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. 
  • 5 years related experience in project management.
  • Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license.  Note: license must be maintained throughout employment

 

We also expect that candidates will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in most cases:  

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Extensive organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Considerable skills in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Considerable ability to prioritize and use sound time management and communicate deadline requirements effectively to others
  • Working knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Ability to procure and manage consultants/contractors
  • Ability to travel 5 to 10
