The Modification Execution Leader will leads a dynamic team of modification technicians and production specialists in the performance of F-15 modifications and upgrades at Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. Works closely with the F-15 BGS Program, USG Program Manager, local USAF partner, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and Global Technical Operations leadership to support deliver of quality modification and maintenance installations to our customer.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities

  • The F-15 Modification Manager operates in a fast paced environment augmenting and/or leading modification and/or maintenance within a highly complex and multi organizational customer environment to deliver against contractual requirements and mission execution.

  • Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.

  • Emphasize the importance of Quality and Safety as top priorities in all aspects of the role.

  • Performs project management activities in development of project plans, deliverables, line management, and risk assessments.

  • Provides oversight and approval of performance approaches, acquires resources, and maintains quality, safety, schedule, and cost plans.

  • Understands contractual language and requirements to ensure compliance and execution.

  • Conducts thorough and complete program status reporting to internal and external customers as required to include USAF Maintenance briefings, DCMA Quality Briefings and Boeing program office leadership.

  • Works alongside peers, teams and customers in dynamic and operationally focused atmosphere.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established policies.

  • Represents program/organization as a prime contact on local day-to-day operations.

  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience working with maintenance and modifications

  • 3+ years of experience performing in a leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, risk management, and project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with fighter aircraft maintenance and or management

  • 3+ years of experience leading, managing, or implementing Lean+ initiatives

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $112,200 – $151,800
