The F135 Sustainment organization is looking for a dynamic leader to lead the Fleet Support & Services team in support of our international partners and FMS customers.
You will lead multiple teams headed by Managers and/or Supervisors, establish and execute Field Service objectives, developing tactical and operational plans to ensure quality and consistency in solving complex client issues, defining and reviewing the sourcing strategies to allocate manpower efficiently, and coaching less experienced managers.
In this position, you will own complex customer agreements, service levels, and the strategy and execution of complex key stakeholder issues, ensure deployed teams have adequate training and qualifications to support the fleet and meet military customer needs, You will also present regular updates to senior stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
- Define and execute operational objectives to achieve Sustainment and F135 “Must-Dos”.
- Address complex, escalated issues that could impact the business or fleet; present updates and recommendations to executive leadership to ensure they are well informed.
- Possess strong technical/product knowledge to help coordinate, prioritize, and resolve quality issues across multiple geographic locations.
- Support training and audit programs to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Represent F135 Sustainment leadership at key customer meetings and site visits.
- Coach employees, address development and performance needs, recognize performance results.
- International travel is estimated at ~10-15
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience required
- 10 years of customer relationship management experience required.
- 10 years of experience leading projects, working creatively and analytically is required.
- 10 years of experience in formal communication and presentation is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity with F135 Operations and Sustainment
- An advanced degree in a technical or business field
- Active Security Clearance

This role is: Onsite
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
For onsite roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
