Essential Responsibilities
FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals:
- Align site to FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace’s Lean Operating model by acting as a resource to educate, coach, and practice FLIGHT DECK principles and tools.
- Lead the development of Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Roadmaps to close gaps in operational business metrics.
- Establish pull and flow to connect customer demand to processes throughout the value stream.
- Drive the development and closure of action plans through effective operating cadences.
- Sustain and improve the site’s Daily & Visual Management System.
- Deploy standard work as the foundation for everyone to continually improve their work.
- Lead the implementation of 5S across the site.
- Coach teams in effective problem solving (Define, Analyze, Countermeasure, & Sustain).

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university AND a Minimum of 3 years of lean manufacturing experience.
- OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of lean manufacturing experience.
Desired Experience and Characteristics
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Transformation, Operational Excellence.
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, Kaizen Events, Standard Work.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in manufacturing, specifically in a shop floor environment.
- Experience training others in principles of Lean methodology.
