Job Description

As a strategic player within the loyalty program division, the incumbent will play a key role in the implementation of this new organization, ensuring that the accounting and financial aspects are deployed and managed efficiently and strategically. The incumbents first mandate will be to set up and manage the monitoring of costs and financial indicators linked to loyalty program operations. As a strategic partner to the management team, he will draw on his expertise in developing the financial model, setting financial targets and monitoring key performance indicators, providing value-added information in a company where data is at the heart of the decision-making process.

  • Play a leading role in the construction, development and implementation of a modern airline loyalty program and associated financial systems and processes by providing value-added information on all matters relating to accounting, planning and financial analysis.
  • Ensure and be responsible for the production of all the divisions financial information, both statutory and for the various needs of managers
  • Lead monthly financial reviews, analyze variances with expected results, and maintain a framework to ensure the integrity of information.
  • Communicate information on the performance of loyalty operations, taking the initiative with sector managers in making recommendations aimed at achieving objectives and creating value.
  • As a financial modeling and analysis consultant, develop and evolve opportunity analysis models to enable senior management and executive leaders to make informed decisions on all matters relating to the loyalty programs financial performance, operations and operating costs.
  • Lead the budget production process and financial forecast updates.
  • Lead operational agreements and processes with revenue management and pricing.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and modeling in the area of airline loyalty programs and management of a co-branded credit card program
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and communicate results in a consistent and timely manner to senior management
  • Experience with data analysis solutions (such as Power BI)
  • Good ability to synthesize and grasp organizational issues
  • Inspiring leadership in a complex, constantly evolving environment
