The Lean site leader will play an integral role in executing the sites’ lean transformation strategy to achieving our SQDC goals. Role Overview:
In this role, you will Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools across the Brisbane Aftermarket site. Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change improvements in operational business metrics. In addition, the FLIGHT DECK (Lean) Leader will:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the site lean transformation within the shop & in other locations as needed.
- Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions at the site including technicians, operators, support staff, and the leadership team to help progress our lean culture and drive continuous improvement
- Be a champion of Kaizen and facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvements using 6S, Visual management, Kanban/pull, standard work, Daily Management, Problem Solving and flow
- Teach, promote, and practice the lean principals and tools and build Kaizen capability at the site & in other locations as needed
- Participate in the site daily management process including daily management meetings and gemba walks to demonstrate & teach the team how it is done properly and to coach the team to teach them the tools needed.
- Coach teams using problem solving process to drive improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
