Skills You Bring To this Role:
· Quality Audit experience and AS9100 knowledge
· Experience managing a unionized workforce is strongly desired.
· Experience and/or training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma required.
· Experience utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as SAP (IMRO and/or CAMS).
· Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and data-driven decision-making with a strong sense of urgency.
· Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
What you Need to Be Successful:
· Bachelor’s degree required OR at least 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance and leadership in manufacturing may be considered equivalent to bachelors degree.
· A minimum of five years directly related Quality experience or a leadership role in manufacturing
· Experience in aviation composite and/or drive systems/ transmission assemblies, to include evaluation and repair techniques.
· Proficiency in navigating and comprehending technical publications such as Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and other general NAVAIR manuals.
· Ability to work multiple shifts as needed
· Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
