Job Description SummaryThe Product Team Leader will report to the Evendale Controls Hardware Section Manager and be responsible for team guidance and technical leadership in the areas of design, execution, and certification within the fuel systems of in-service and NPI commercial engines.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Team Leader within the Fluid Systems organization, you will:

  • Guide a team of engineers responsible for multiple in-service and New Product Introduction engines
  • Accountable for day-to-day operation of multiple programs and projects across multiple engine lines.  This includes conflict resolution, supporting schedule definition, technical support, mentoring early career engineers and integration within a joint venture.
  • Provide team leadership and guidance in all areas from initial hardware concept through component certification and field service.
  • Drive supplier-designed efforts including both technical and programmatic efforts
  • Actively lead and participate in internal and supplier design reviews.
  • Complete necessary analysis and evaluation of proposed designs for assigned projects adhering to business standards and design guidelines.
  • Engage in a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.
  • Present design details and philosophy to internal and external customers

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering
