We were meant to fly.As GCAP Project Control Manager, you will report to the GCAP Advanced Program Manager and you will be responsible for planning and cost tracking/reporting for the activities related to the new military program, in coordination with all the involved functions.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
Management of planning of the area of his/her responsibility, in consistency with program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), liasing with IMS manager and functional planners
Create/update the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in the Avio Aero systems
Monthly estimate and input the “Estimation to Complete” for the work packages for the area of his/her responsibility
Monitor the Non-Recurring Costs and the whole budgeting process, supporting the GCAP Advanced Program Manager and in close coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.
Prepare actual data of the activities as per contractual requirements and prepare related documentation to be discussed with the Customer and the Ministry of Defence (MoD)
Support Commercial team during preparation of price investigation with MoD
Responsible for requesting invoices to Finance and obtaining Customer approval for invoices for area of his/her responsibility
Collaborate with IMS manager in the earned value (cost progress) calculation
Monitor internal/external approvals for Purchase Orders issuing to Suppliers
Support the Contract Margin Review process in coordination with Finance
Support the Program / Gate Reviews and the meeting with the Customers and program stakeholders
Ensure timely heads-up of the issues and collaborate to resolve them
Support Program Risk Management (identification of risks and opportunities)
Ad interim, ensure that company procedure for asset register management is applied
Ad interim, monitor cash collections
Qualifications/RequirementsMaster Degree in Engineering
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Proven expertise in managing financial metrics
Accuracy in documenting, plan, and execute established projects
Take in charge, self-government and self-determination
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
Prompt communication and sense of urgency
Management skills
Good problem solving skills
Fluent written and spoken English
Availability to travel as needed to support the Business
Eligible to be security cleared by the Italian National Security Authority (security concerns that can lead to a determination of ineligibility are listed in art. 37 DPCM 6 November 2015 n.5)”
