Position Overview
We are hiring a General Manager to lead the daily operations of our Anchorage location. This on-site leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong aviation background who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You'll oversee operations across departments, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide our team to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage staff across departments: maintenance, instructors, rampers, customer service, and admin
- Oversee scheduling, performance, and accountability of personnel
- Coordinate aircraft readiness, facility cleanliness, and inventory availability
- Manage vendor relationships and request purchasing approval as needed
- Conduct weekly meetings with staff and leadership; track KPIs and performance metrics
- Support FAA documentation and inspection readiness in collaboration with the Director of Maintenance
- Address customer concerns, operational issues, and staff challenges promptly
- Uphold internal policies, FAA regulations, and company safety standards
Compensation & Benefits
Reporting Relationships:
General Manager will report to the Vice President.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000, depending on experience
