General Manager, Transformation Management Office Role Description This position plays a significant role in driving business transformational change for the Group, including ensuring alignment of all business units’ deliverables to meet MAG’s short- and long-term business plans. Through various programmes and initiatives, he/she is accountable for driving and building an innovative culture by constantly challenging business leaders to re-think their operational structures, strategies, supporting technologies, and ways of working. GM, TMO is also responsible for ensuring all key projects are delivered on time, achieving their intended outcomes, and supporting overall organizational growth. He/she serves as the catalyst for change in inculcating an innovation- and digital-centric culture among MAG employees, driving solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiencies, and employee productivity.
Key Accountability in Driving Group Strategic Focus (i.e., Profitability, Customer Experience, Deliver MH, and People)
- Lead and direct process transformation efforts, implementation, and corporate re-organisation. This includes coordinating all workstreams involved, challenging ideas and initiatives, removing bottlenecks, and working together to find solutions. Encourage business leaders to re-engineer legacy processes to improve internal and external customer experience.
- Formulate a framework to build an environment of digital innovation and advise business units on maximizing digital and agile opportunities by shaping the skills, processes, talent, and tools used to deliver business goals.
- Accountable for strategic transformation plan design and tactical execution of enterprise-wide solutions to improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and productivity.
- Lead labs/workshops with facilitation, discussion, and high-level engagement regarding the evaluation of projects, initiatives, and key performance targets to ensure alignment of divisions/subsidiaries with the Group’s strategic focus. Provide support to business leaders to formulate detailed project charters highlighting objectives, key activities, milestones, KPIs, cost implications, deliverables, and success factors.
- Oversee the execution and integration of various initiatives within the Group to ensure program deliverables are on target, identify issues, and evaluate risk early for effective execution of MAB Group’s strategies. Manage and monitor project implementation with a focus on tracking outcomes and value creation, overseeing the implementation of updated business strategies.
- Collaborate with business leaders to formulate projects and initiatives to optimize cost, enhance revenue, and increase efficiency and productivity for the whole Group.
- Serve as a spokesperson to articulate outputs and report on the progress of labs/troubleshooting workshops, leading consultation and syndication with senior management and key stakeholders (e.g., GEXCO, Board of Directors, Management team, Shareholders).
