As part of the MRO Services division, you will be responsible for the development, management and coordination of the Airframe Procurement category. Tasks

 The Head of Airframe Services Procurement is responsible for :

  • The procurement of LHGs airframe MRO services.
  • The strategic sourcing of the Airfame Procurement category including contract management, supplier negotiations and supplier management.
  • Defining global category strategy in line with LHGs business strategy and ensuring consistency of category specific procurement and supply activities within the Group.
  • Defining cost savings and meeting sustainability targets.
  • Optimizing working capital, developing end-to-end strategies and ensuring data-driven decisions.
  • Monitoring supplier management, innovation, compliance and stakeholder communication.
  • Establishing efficient and stable supply chains in terms of quality, cost efficiency and security of supply.
  • Planning and monitoring budget and staff management.

 

Your profile

  • Be a role model and embody the values of LHG Procurement: appreciation, entrepreneurial spirit, sustainability and group optimization.
  • Completed university degree in engineering or economics or comparable professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the passenger airline business and understanding of its core processes, especially in the area of technical fleet management.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement and strategic sourcing/negotiation/partner management.
  • Very high intercultural competence.
  • Strong strategic understanding and high willingness to innovate.
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking.
  • High willingness to take on responsibility and willingness to make decisions.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills and assertiveness.
  • Ability to manage employees.
