The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) 737 Program is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the HR team located in Renton, WA.

This position is a domestic temporary assignment (DTA) located in Victorville, CA. Candidates will be provided a DTA (Domestic Temporary Assignment) benefits package as applicable. This position and the candidate selected will be required to work onsite in Victorville, CA and will based in Renton, WA upon completion of assignment.

This position offers transportation and DTA (Domestic Temporary Assignment) benefits based on candidate eligibility, which may include the following:

  • For temporary assignments, the DAA (Domestic Assignment Allowance) is an additive of 20 of your base rate of pay. Reflected on each paycheck based on eligible earnings.
  • Completion bonus
  • Travel benefits from base work location to Victorville
  • Domestic Travel Allowance
  • Housing and meal per diems for duration of DTA while in Victorville

As a member of the Airplane Programs and 737 Program HR team, there is a tremendous opportunity to make a significant impact at The Boeing Company and contribute towards supporting our teammates in delivering world class airplanes.

The position will play a key role in supporting the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience.  The role, along with their team of peers, will be the HR Generalists supporting Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) employees in 737 Program and Delivery Operations.  The position will work closely with other key groups in the HR organization, HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and the HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers. The team will be responsible for delivering HR products and services interactions and interfacing with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
  • Work closely with HR COE’s to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs
  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives
  • Support the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and the continuous technological improvements in Workday
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies
  • Communicate with HR peers and leaders on site activities

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Flexible work arrangements will be considered on an as-needed basis.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in Human Resources at The Boeing Company
  • Human Resources Certification
  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • Experience in Lean process implementation
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Experience leading project teams and acting as a peer mentor

Long Term Assignment:

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Victorville, CA. Relocation/assignment benefits to the location will be provided.

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $87,550 - $118,450

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $111,350 - $150,650 

This position will remain open through March 31st 2024
