Fast Growing Aerospace Company’ is seeking a dynamic Human Resources professional act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organizations human resource function and performance. This key role reports directly to the CFO  and will partner with business leaders to ensure we are driving a positive company culture.   The ideal candidate is a fast and eager learner who is looking to make a significant contribution to the success of the company.  This is an on-site full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits, located in the Central Valley.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for all recruiting activities to ensure a positive candidate experience from candidate application, interviews and offer process.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources regarding organization partnerships, community outreach, and volunteer programs.
  • Conduct the Onboarding of all New Hires 
  • Oversee the performance review process, including job documentation, job description, and job evaluation systems.
  • Manage all Talent management programs, including performance reviews, performance improvement, and compensation cycles.
  • Recommend, develop, and schedule training and development courses.
  • Oversees and coordinates all human resource compliance policies and procedures in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations and Agency policy.
  • Full ownership of Benefit program offering working with a broker and providers, administer new hire and annual enrollments and liaise between employees and insurance carriers as needed.
  • Maintain HRIS modules in Paycom to ensure full digitization of all HR records.
  • Ensure compliant policies and handbooks, serving as experts for policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements within the department.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • AA degree required; BA preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in HR Management of employee relations, compensation, benefits administration and performance management programs.HR work experience in skilled labor or manufacturing industry
  • Strong Recruiting skills optimizing use of applicant tracking systems, knowledgeable trends to attract talent and implement strong candidate to hire processes.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Federal, California state and local labor regulations and HR practices.
  • Ability to provide leadership, accept responsibility, work independently, and set own goals in a professional manner.Hands-on and proactive workstyle with ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously and able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience is highly desirable.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge/experience in Payroll, Benefits, Employee policies manual, and Performance Review processes
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Paycom HRIS/Payroll system experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Manufacturing or Aerospace background a plus
  • Experience with Aerospace factory processes.
