We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

Human Resources Site Lead
Bring your experience and ideas to provide strategic and hands‑on leadership for a large, complex site of 700 employees and contractors within the US Army Flight Training Program. You’ll oversee all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, labor relations, employee engagement, workforce planning, leadership coaching, performance management, and HR operations. Youll serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership and play a critical role in maintaining a positive employee relations environment, supporting military installation requirements, and managing relationships with third‑party subcontractors.
What youll be doing
Strategic HR Leadership
Serve as the senior HR leader, ensuring alignment with overall HR strategies and business objectives.
Partner closely with site, regional, and enterprise leaders to drive workforce strategy, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead HR initiatives that support cost, quality, delivery, and operational performance goals.
Employee Relations
Lead all employee relations strategies for the site, including employee engagement improvement, and proactive issue identification.
Partner with sub-contractor leadership of both union and non-union employees
Partner with broader Bell HR and Legal to conduct investigations, deliver training, and support a positive employee relations climate.
Military Site & Government Contracting Requirements
Navigate HR requirements unique to military installations, including security protocols, facility access, and compliance requirements.
Assure compliance with Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.
Partner with Program Security to ensure HR processes uphold all aerospace, defense, and government‑contract compliance standards, including ITAR, DFARS, and related regulations.
Collaborate with military personnel, base leadership, or government customers as needed.
3rd‑Party Contractor Workforce Coordination
Interfaces with subcontractors and staffing partners, ensuring compliance with site standards, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Legal to monitor service-level performance, worker conduct, and workforce utilization/needs.
Employee Experience & Organizational Development
Build and drive employee engagement strategies and action plans.
Provide coaching and counsel to managers and leaders to improve leadership effectiveness, team performance, and accountability.
Lead succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development programs.
HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee local HR operations, including staffing, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and HRIS administration.
Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, government contracting requirements, and aerospace/defense industry standards.
Lead and mentor onsite HR team members to deliver high‑quality support and services.
