  • Proactively reviews suppliers, assess operational gaps to identify risks and takes systematic actions to develop a world class supplier.
  • Is globally responsible for all supplier development and quality improvement and sustainment.
  • Systematically drives Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to prevent defects.
  • Works directly with sourcing, business, engineering and our customers on strategies to improve product quality and delivery.
  • Identifies and leads the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Are leaders creating a performance culture with our suppliers through coaching and technical engagement.

As Principal Operations & Product Manager you will developstrategies that impact our top products & customers, streamlined processesto drive improved results, create learning and development programs to groworganizational capabilities and manage other operational improvement projects tomeet or exceed productivity, quality and business goals. The successful candidateshould be able to effectively communicate with senior management, be organized,handle multiple priorities and influence to get results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project management guru to drive results across organization to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Champion operation excellence strategies to systemically improve overall efficiencies and performance of the organization.
  • Identify and execute systemic improvement projects to streamline operations, remove barriers, drive towards best in class team and increase value of organization.
  • Expert at navigating through and interpreting project requirements and constraints to meet larger business objectives.
  • Acts as a product focal developing supplier delivery and quality improvement strategies aligned to need of sites and customers
  • Build a strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., PP&C, Engineering, Materials, Procurement, Customer Team and Strategic Sourcing) to enable faster execution.
  • Engaged in highly visible projects requiring written and verbal communication at various levels of management.
  • Develop and institute various training, development and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate across value streams to implement best practices, standardize process and lead continuous improvement projects which increase value to Honeywell.
  • Develop and provide data analytics and trend analysis on issues related to Quality and Delivery to focus resources in right areas.
  • Manage organizations momentum budget, monitoring spend, issuing charge numbers, reviewing return on investment, AOP & STRAP
  • Support digital transformation, creating ofdashboards and automated reports.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project management, HR or Business
  • 5+ years combined of Supply Chain, Customer support, Program management, People Development or Engineering experience

WE VALUE

  • Experience with project management and MS Project. PMP Certification a plus
  • Data analytics knowledge and experience a plus
  • Understanding of manufacturing and production cycle
  • Experience using SAP and managing large budget
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Including Sr leadership reporting 
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership 
  • A change agent with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret business performance and financial data, define actions, and implement solutions.
  • Effective collaboration skills to motivate and influence others at various levels without a direct reporting relationship.
