Job Description:

Purpose of Position
Manage the full cycle of the IT projects portfolio, working closely with the business in identifying requirements for new operational related systems/technological solutions and/or for improvements to be made in the current systems or processes. Perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, design them accordingly, manage all cycle of software development and implementation ensuring that systems improvements meet user requirements, business strategy, IT strategy and the efficiency and promptness of the service and systems is continuously enhanced.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Director of European IT to define the objectives, initiatives, priorities and timelines for projects implementation, ensuring the IT strategy is accomplished;
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing new solutions, execute ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies;
  • Execute requirements analysis, documentation, and communication, for technology projects with local, remote, and/or offshore teams.Leadership and development support for those projects, as needed;
  • Execute scoping and estimation for new business project requests from any operating company / business unit. Create, manage and review AFEs using the defined scoping and estimation process, to ensure the timely implementation of all requests;
  • Act as liaison between IT and assigned business units for disseminating information from IT related information to the departments and managing the business changes associated with releasing new information technology solutions to the business;
  • Collaborate with other business analysts and project team members across the department and on other projects to share knowledge and experience that can be leveraged for cross project purposes or for improvement in the business analysis process in general;
  • Manage all cycle of software development projects to successful delivery on time and on budget.Typically includes scoping, estimating, planning, resourcing, tracking, measuring, reporting status, managing risks, perform QA and user acceptance testing as well as supporting transition, and project closure.Projects may be custom development or implementations of third-party systems;
  • Resolve project issues across team and external teams throughout the project and release life cycle by working with managers in other groups and escalating as necessary, including development of relationships with business partners and resolution and/or escalation of pertinent project issues with them;
  • Liaise with NetJets Global IT and third party vendors contracted to assist in the analysis, development, and implementation of Governance approved content management, acting as an intermediary between them and internal customers, in order to fulfil approved requirements, facilitate communication with technical teams, ensure compliance with all relevant NetJets Shared IT processes, and guarantee the standardization of policies and procedures;
  • Communicate progress to the Director of European IT, Senior Management and costumers; adjust priorities based on business direction and changes. Identify, analyse risks and anticipate potential deviations that could affect the effective implementation of the project, proposing solutions and actions to prevent their occurrence and make mitigating decisions or report appropriately as issues arise;
  • Manage development staff including NetJets employees and/or contractors. Develop team and individual objectives in support of overall department objectives;
  • Develop and deliver, as needed, quality training materials and documentation for new systems and business processes;
  • Performs market research regarding new software systems and applications, in order to ensure that the most appropriate and innovative technological solutions are implemented.

  • 5 years experience in scoping and requirements gathering for large and complex software development projects, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • 3 years experience in Business Analysis role and Project Management for large and complex software development projects, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • Good knowledge of building, developing and designing operational and financial systems as well as experience of data models;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
  • High Proficiency in MS Office.
