The IT Manager, Davenport is a strategic business partner responsible for local IT activities. This includes developing and executing location IT system strategies and plans to meet business needs, managing IT financials (operating and local capital), defining organizational resource and development plans, and maintaining internal and external supplier relationships to enable IT plans execution. This position is the liaison for all IT pillars to Plant Operations, representing ‘One IT’, and includes direct- and dotted-line reports in a matrix organization.
In this role, you will:
- Provide ongoing technical and leadership expertise, including growth and scalability requirements, for delivering several ERP systems, business applications, document management, data warehousing, and end user computing needs. Ensure high availability and redundancy for these business-critical systems. Maintain data center equipment disaster-recovery planning and testing, based on the organization’s guidelines.
- Drive and align innovative, enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions, encompassing physical, virtual, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, and hybrid environments.
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures and processes, using configuration management, source code control, asset management, systems monitoring, and other tools to ensure reliable information technology delivery.
- Research and recommend new methods and techniques to improve operations, monitoring techniques, software pushes, and security offerings.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and corporate audit procedures.
- Manage vendor relations, ensuring optimal service and cost efficiency.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including: internal and external customers, vendors, other IT professionals, Managers, CIO’s analysts, and GBS/GBS-IS management.
- Strengthen the operations team, over time, through hands-on leadership and development opportunities, resulting in talent pipelines for succession planning.
- Maintain and publish metrics highlighting IT services operational efficiencies.
- Provide work direction to multiple coordinated teams and large-scale, high-impact, and/or Global, Multi-Million Dollar projects, executing in adherence to budget, schedule, and scope with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Plan and manage budgets, demonstrating understanding of the financial processes.
Essential Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
You have: (required)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited organization .
- 7 years minimum experience working in information systems or technology
- 7 years’ minimum experience in a position of leadership/influence (defined as having direct reports, matrix reports, or leading a project team).
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
