Inflight Training Supervisor

Job Description:

Primary Job Duties

Ensure the delivery of a high quality and successful inflight training program
Responsible for development, maintaining currency, and regulatory requirements for the following InFlight training programs: Initial New Hire, Recurrent, Requalification, Additional Training, and Ground Instructor Initial/Recurrent Training
Assist in maintaining and updating the Flight Attendant Training Manual (FATM) to ensure regulatory compliance
Support part-time ground instructors’ by organizing meetings, trainings, and evaluations
Manage inflight uniform issuance and Inflight Appearance and Uniform Manual
Communicate policies, procedures and general information to ground instructors as directed
Assist Flight Attendants with scheduling, training, and personnel issues
Monitor trainee Flight Attendant performance
Maintain accurate inflight training records
Coordinate with employment standards and scheduling teams to organize all logistics for initial new hire and recurrent classes
Promote safety, SMS, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and communication
Promote an environment for employees that encourages the reporting of safety concerns without repercussion
Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned
Additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Previous supervisory experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of inflight procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of all applicable FAA regulations, 8900 guidance, and requirements
Proven strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and work in a team environment
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to research, analyze, problem solve and multi-task
Excellent communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
