Would you like to help with the transformation journey of the Data, Transformation & Continuous Improvement (DTCI) department within the Component Services (CS) division? Data Management is essential in the transformation the department is facing. Are you excited by organising complex data, streamlining processes and working between business, IT and data teams? Are you analytical, proactive and eager to take ownership in a supportive team? Then this may be the internship for you.
You will play a key role in designing, documenting, and implementing new ways of working in data management, while contributing to broader transformation projects within CS. You’ll also support tooling and reporting improvements, develop visualisations, and drive AI-related use cases. No two days will be the same.

You will land at Schiphol-East, in Hangar 14 to be precise. This is one of the two locations of Component Services, which is part of KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M), KLM’s maintenance division. Together with Air France Industries (AFI), KLM E&M is a leading player in the global aircraft maintenance industry. In addition to maintaining the KLM and Air France fleet, KLM E&M and AFI service the aircraft, engines, and components of around 200 customers worldwide. You will work at Component Services, the unit responsible for maintaining components and ensuring component availability for both Air France KLM and external clients.
