Cargo Aircraft Management, Inc., a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc., provides efficient and personalized service to customers currently operating or wanting to operate cargo aircraft anywhere around the world. Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) is responsible for Engine and APU maintenance and performance of aircraft lease pre-delivery workscopes. The Inventory Asset Manager will provide program and supply chain oversight to develop and direct the efficient allocation and delivery of aerospace components in line with ongoing production plans and requirements. The Inventory Asset Manager will ensure that all CF6-80A and assigned aerospace component related activities are seamlessly coordinated across the operational landscape, and that appropriate visual management and reporting tools are developed and utilized in both tactical execution and strategic scenario development. The Inventory Asset Manager will audit company owned property regularly; assist with forecasting to ensure costs in line or below budget; coordinate work scopes and work order creation; and drive consistent performance and process improvements across a global supply chain. 

Duties:

  • Ability to travel is required, frequency driven by operational demand
  • Oversight on CAM powerplant activities to ensure customer & company obligations are achieved
  • Ensure all workscopes support CAM commercial and technical expectations
  • Audit company owned assets to ensure complete controllership and accountability
  • Reports overall powerplant supply chain performance, with rapid risk/opportunity escalation
  • Develops and utilize effective visual management and reporting tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Flexibility to work and travel outside of normal working hours, as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years aerospace or equivalent experience with specific experience in asset management, supply chain and material coordination
  • Proven track record of positively influencing work processes and behaviors in relatively short amounts of time
  • Strong problem-solving skills and very strong analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Systematic and process-oriented mindset, able to work seamlessly across boundaries
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, or management with practical technical experience
