Junior Sustainability Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role:
The Junior Sustainability Manager reports to the Sustainability Team Manager and is based at the company’s head office in Budapest. The Junior Sustainability Manager supports core ESG activities, including data gathering, documentation, reporting assistance, and internal coordination. The role contributes to sustainability reporting processes, ESG ratings support, and broader environmental and stakeholder engagement initiatives under close guidance.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate and organise ESG data from internal teams for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of disclosures under CSRD, ReFuelEU, Hungarian ESG Law and other frameworks.
- Support the submission process for ESG ratings and surveys.
- Help track progress on net zero and ESG performance indicators.
- Maintain document repositories and support audit trail preparation.
- Contribute to ESG awareness activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainability initiatives.
Skills and competencies:
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Business and financial competence to evaluate risks and opportunities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment.
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of relevant sustainability or ESG experience
- Airline or hard-to-abate sector experience is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, in business or related field is an advantage
- Excellent English (both written and spoken)
