Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire a Avionics Technician to support a contract-to-hire position in Federal Way, WA. This position starts ASAP, offer medical/dental/vision/401k options, per diem while on contract, and opportunity to become a permanent employee of a comprehensive helicopter maintenance and FAA Certified Repair Center.
Description:
- Responsible fo install, integration, and troubleshooting/testing of Avionics packages for rotary-wing aircraft, including Airbus, Bell, and other models. End users include private & corporate owners, hospital and medevac organizations, and law enforcement
- Install pre-kitted upgrades and repairs and wire harnesses by consulting blueprints, installing, terminating and extensive troubleshooting, and coordinating with other mechanics and inspectors to complete task cards.
Aircraft: AStars, MD500s, EC135 & 145, we have 3 ASTARS and 3 MD500s for a customer in Alaska, among many others.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Avionics installs and troubleshooting of Garmin equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, install avionics packages, terminate and troubleshoot aircraft wiring
- Must own tools
