Job overview and responsibilities

As a Lead Data Architect, Development and Management for AWS PostgreSQL Data Development, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health, and performance) and demonstrate Architect level skills in Complex SQL development to support enterprise critical applications.

Required

· AWS Aurora PostgreSQL Development and Management (3 years Required)

· AWS Native Data Technologies including NoSQL and streaming technologies 5 years (Preferred)

· SQL Development and optimization advanced level 7 years (PostgreSQL/MS SQL) (Required)

· Production Support

· Communication and problem-Solving skills (Required)

· Data Modeling (Preferred)

· Supports application development projects by ensuring best practice and code reviews.

· Mentor other team members on development and optimization

· Optimize, and tune complex SQL Code for mission-critical production systems.

· Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations

· Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

· Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.

· Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

· Work effectively with the DBA teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed.

· Extensive experience with database development tools (Postgres, PGADMIN, PLPG/SQL queries and procedures), ETL and integration technologies

· Experience developing interfaces to Postgres -based databases

· Familiarity with development toolkits & source repositories SVN/GIT etc.

· Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

· Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision

· Analyze business requirements, propose, design and implement technical solutions

· Identify root causes and resolve data related issues

· Integration with AWS Native data technologies like DynamoDB, Managed Kafka, Kinesis

Preferred

· Masters Degree

· Certification in AWS Database Speciality, AWS Architect Associate
