As a Lead Manufacturing Technician here at HoneywellAerospace Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the qualityand reliability of our aerospace products. You will collaborate with a team oftechnicians and engineers to provide technical expertise to support ourmanufacturing processes and maintain compliance with industry standards. Youwill report directly to our Sr. Quality Manager, and you will work on site atour Minneapolis, MN location. Your diligence and commitment to quality willcontribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of ourbusiness.

In this role, you will impact the success of our quality operations byproviding quality support and technical expertise to ensure smooth productionprocesses and timely delivery of products.

In this role, you will have asignificant impact on our Aerospace business unit by leading qualityinspections, conducting first article inspections, participate in audits, andimplementing corrective actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teamsto drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Yourstrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental inidentifying and resolving quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or collaborate with a team of technicians to provide guidance and support to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance to standards.
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to meet production goals.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Support material dispositions for conformance and nonconformance.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws andregulations, candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. 

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, of which 3 years in a Quality Technician or related role
  • 3 years reading and interpreting technical work instructions, specifications, and part drawings.
  • 1 year experience in dimensional identification and part measurement
  • 1 year experience supporting/participating in an AS9100/ISO9001 audit.
