Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Lead Production Coordinator to support the P-8A Poseidon at Jacksonville, Florida

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
  • Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.
  • Identifies and reports complex problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.
  • Analyzes complex problems.
  • Resolves or reconciles complex discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
  • Coordinates with various functions to resolve complex or competing priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under minimal supervision.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Jacksonville, FL.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Minimum 5 years working with or within one of the following: MRO operations (maintenance, repair and overhaul), materials management, supply chain, and/or production control, in aviation environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products).
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met.
  • Experience working with commercial derivative aircraft platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or foreign equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a team leader.
  • Understanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodology.
  • Earn value management experience is a plus.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years of related work, Bachelor+2 years of related work, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $55,250 - $74,750.
